Double Sun, the underground psychedelic rock group, is proud to announce the release of their highly anticipated second album, Springloader. The album showcases Double Sun‘s evolution as a band and their commitment to delivering an authentic psychedelic experience.
More info about Double Sun‘s Springloader
Drawing from the psychedelic rock movement of the 60’s and 70’s, as well as new sounds from the band’s vibrant South African home, the album weaves together intricate guitar riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and introspective lyrics to create a new sonic playground.
In the pursuit of musical innovation, Double Sun has embarked on a collaboration with SA scene legend Evert Snyman as producer. As a seasoned artist renowned for his work with local legends like Ruff Majik, The Tazers and Arno Carstens,
Snyman brought his wealth of experience to the studio, becoming an integral force in shaping the evolution of Double Sun‘s sound. Notably, Snyman’s distinctive vocals also make a guest appearance on one of the album’s tracks, “Roff”, adding an extra layer of depth to this new auditory journey.
The lead single and title track, “Springloader”, accompanied by a visually stunning music video, has already gained traction among fans.
The music video transports viewers into a surreal realm of cowboys and showdowns, perfectly complementing the wild, ethereal atmosphere of the song.
Double Sun is actively seeking collaborations with music blogs, playlist curators, and industry influencers to amplify the reach of Springloader.
They invite music enthusiasts and playlist curators alike to experience the immersive soundscape of the new record. Double Sun‘s Springloader is now available on Spotify and all other major streaming platforms.
As I was writing this article, I was giving the album a spin on Spotify and I have to admit that it’s good. This album has definitely turned my Friday Frown upside down. I am keen to watch these boyjies live again, because they always bring their A-game. They leave the crowd sweaty and wanting more. Nuff said.
