Rising South African metal band Diverted Disorder has unveiled their new single, “Serpent Queen.” This hard-hitting track serves as a teaser for the group’s upcoming sophomore album, which fans can expect to be released soon.

Diverted Disorder, officially established in November 2022, has rapidly gained recognition in the metal community. The band’s origins can be traced to lead vocalist Hardman Mills rekindling his passion for music through a solo project at home.
The group took shape when Mills joined forces with Jared Gunston in January 2021. Diverted Disorder‘s unique sound merges thrash metal with influences from blues, death metal, and core styles, resulting in a distinctive musical approach that transcends traditional genre boundaries.
A pivotal moment in Diverted Disorder‘s development came in August 2022 when the project expanded into a complete four-member ensemble. The band demonstrated their commitment and enthusiasm with their debut live show on November 26, 2022.

“Pure anger… Lol. The track’s message is a powerful reminder: ‘Don’t treat others like they are beneath you.’ I wanted to display as much anger as possible and make the track heavy as hell. I believe we have achieved that.”

“We recorded, mixed, and mastered it ourselves. Super proud of the team for all the hard work. So much more to come. We tend to work when we feel inspired; otherwise, music becomes production and then it loses its soul,”

Diverted Disorder‘s first album, “Technical Difficulties,” hit the scene in November 2022. It garnered praise for its unfiltered examination of individual and social issues.
The band’s resourcefulness shone through as they transformed recording obstacles into distinctive features of their musical style.
On the horizon, Diverted Disorder is preparing for a UK tour in August, which aims to broaden their audience and impact, offering a chance to engage directly with their expanding fan community.
