The South African shows come off the heels of Dave Matthews Band releasing their 10th studio album, Walk Around The Moon, on RCA Records last month
Walk Around The Moon is a pandemic-born record that is as much a reflection on the current times as it is an urge to find common ground. The twelve-track album, recorded with producer Rob Evans in studios throughout Seattle, Charlottesville, and Los Angeles, uniquely captures this moment in time.
Led by powerful singles “Madman’s Eyes,” “Monsters,” and the title track “Walk Around The Moon,” the acclaimed album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200, #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums, and #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums charts.
Before heading to South Africa, Dave Matthews Band continues their expansive North American tour. The headline run includes the band’s first show at the historic Forest Hills Stadium in New York on June 9 and stops at large stadiums and amphitheaters across the United States.
