South African artist Dan Duminy returns with a heart-wrenching new single, “Lost Without You”—a candid exploration of love, heartbreak, and emotional vulnerability. Known for his raw lyricism and commitment to authenticity, Dan opens up like never before on this powerful release.
“I wrote it during a time of introspection, when I was processing some difficult emotions and experiences,” Dan shares. “The inspiration came from my own struggles with relationships and feelings of loss.”
A Collaborative Vision
“Lost Without You” is the result of a powerful collaboration with producers Jordan James Pinkston and Lindokuhle Sithole, who helped bring Dan’s vision to life.
“They brought a unique perspective and energy to the song,” Dan says. “As for the writing process, I wanted to create a song that was honest and authentic, something that would resonate with others who have gone through similar experiences.”

The release of “Lost Without You” follows the launch of Dan’s new digital series, Purpose In Pain—a platform designed to share stories of resilience, healing, and hope.
“It’s a safe space for people who have gone through trauma or hardship, where they can share their stories and triumphs,” he says. “There’s more to come from this project, including some unreleased music that I can’t speak on just yet—but it’s going to be powerful.”

Over the past year, Dan Duminy has continued to connect with listeners on a deeply emotional level. His breakout single “You Don’t Know Me” resonated with fans across the globe.
“Hearing from fans who told me the song helped them through a difficult moment… that’s everything to me,” Dan reflects.
