More info about Cantrel
Years ago, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cantrel found solace and inspiration in their music. As the world grappled with uncertainty, they emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing their melodies with messages of light and resilience.
“When we first came together during lockdown, we found a sense of purpose in our music,” says the duo “It was a time of reflection and creativity, and our bond as father and son only grew stronger as we navigated those challenging times.”
‘What If Flowers Burn’ is not just a single; it’s a testament to the duo’s enduring journey. Born from acoustic beginnings, the song evolved into its radio edit form through experimentation and collaboration at their home studio.
This process, reflective of their entire album, underscores the duo’s commitment to crafting music that resonates deeply with listeners.
Cantrel‘s father-son relationship remains the cornerstone of their musical collaboration. “Our connection has only deepened over the years,” they affirm. “Working together is a joy, and our shared passion for music continues to inspire us every day.”
The decision to release ‘What If Flowers Burn’ as their next radio single was driven by its timeless message of hope. As Cantrel looks towards the future, they are excited to share their music with audiences both locally and internationally.
With upcoming live performances scheduled as part of a nationwide tour in South Africa and an invitation to perform in Austria later this year, fans have much to anticipate.
Looking ahead, Cantrel remains dedicated to their musical journey, committed to creating more music and connecting with their audience. In addition to their latest single, they recently launched a brand new merch range, inviting fans to further engage with the Cantrel experience.
“We invite everyone to join us on this ongoing musical journey,” says Cantrel “Connect with us on social media, come to our shows, and let’s continue spreading positivity through the power of music.”
