Great News festival junkies! Bos Boogie 2023 is happening from the 25th to the 27th August near Roodeplaat dam (on the outskirts of Pretoria).
Bos Boogie has heard the rhythmic cries of the bush. Curious as to this unusual sound, reminiscent of a distant memory, that feels long passed and I set out to enquire what was afoot. My expedition was led by the hacking of pangas through the overgrown thorn bush, the crunching and bristling of the grass started to dim as my heart started to glow with nostalgia.
Peaking through the thorn bush, the celestial, the alien, the funkiest space traveler, the Bos Boogie Man, with his belly of jolly jiggling in sync with his booty, to the sounds of the best rock and reggae, this side of the boerewors curtain.
